salam....

pagi semalam seperti biasa kitaorang dpt surat khabar dari skolah.... setiap kelas dapat tiga jenis surat khabar..
BH, News Strait Times dan lagi satu Life&Times Travel...

oklah,
sebenarnya aku ada terjumpa satu muka surat dlm surat khabar yg terakhir tu....
kandungannyer adalah idioms drpd luar negara...
idioms yg aku jumpa adalah;

1.into the mouth of the wolf----italian
means:to wish someone luck... but not the best one. it's the vice versa.
# kalau ada org yg ckp mcm tu, jawab mcm ni...."may the wolf die"

2.not my circus,not my monkeys----polish
means: not my problem

3.to feed the donkey sponge cake----portuguese
means:to give really good treatment to somebody who doesn't need it

4.to ride as hare----russian
means:to travel without a ticket

5.to have wide face---japanese
means:to have many friends
#dlm bahasa jepun sebutan dia adalah..."kao ga hiro i"

6.a cat's jump---german
means:a short distance away
#similar to stone's throw away

7.to let a frog out of your mouth---finnish
means:to say the wrong thing
#kalau ada org tu ckp je dekat dia mcm tu...hehehehe..

8.to have midday demon----french
means:to have midlife crisis

9.to give someone pumpkins---spanish
means:to reject somebody
# kalau nak reject org cari labu yer...

10.to have stick in your ear----danish
means:to not listen to someone

hah, itulah idioms yg aku jumpa dlm akhbar tu...
oklah... tu je yg aku nak kongsikan
